Hi, I’m Setareh, the founder of Seren Photography. My journey began in Iran, where I was born and raised, and brought me to the beautiful city of Victoria, BC, Canada, eight years ago. At the age of 22, I received my first Canon camera as a birthday gift, and that moment sparked a lifelong love for photography.

Over the years, I’ve explored various forms of photography—family, maternity, couple, engagement, beauty, lifestyle, business headshots, and more. For me, photography is more than just a craft; it’s a way to express my emotions and tell meaningful stories. When I’m behind the lens, I feel alive, completely immersed in the moment, often losing track of time as I capture life’s beauty.

 

I love working with people during portrait sessions, learning about their unique journeys, and creating a connection that often turns into lasting friendships. Whether it’s through intimate portraits or heartwarming family photos, my goal is to bring out the essence of every moment I capture.

 

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me exploring the great cafes and outdoors—hiking, camping, biking, kayaking, or traveling to discover new places.
